Located on Boston’s North Shore, the agency was founded in 1988 by Joel Hamlin. Beacon Insurance serves clients mainly in the surrounding cities and towns of Essex and Middlesex counties including Beverly, Danvers, Hamilton, Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Reading, Revere, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Wakefield and Wenham.

Joel Hamlin, President
Joel has over 27 years of insurance experience. Prior to founding his own agency in 1988, Joel was a financial planner. He is also a Registered Representative of INVEST Financial Corporation.
Joel has a BS in Math and Science and an M. Ed. in Educational Research Technology from Northeastern University. He lives in Marblehead, MA, with his wife Nancy.

Jordan Hegedus, CLU, ChFC
Jordan has over 38 years of diversified business experience. He has been a Beacon Principal for over 17 years. Prior to his insurance experience, Jordan was a Vice President in banking and investments.
Jordan has an MBA in Finance from Boston College and a BSBA from Georgetown University. He also has CLU and ChFC degrees from the American College and is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Jordan resides in Lynnfield, MA with his wife Beverly, who is a Psychologist in the Lexington School System.
